Job Responsibilities
What will your normal day look like:
As an IT Helpdesk Technician, you will be the first point of contact for internal users requiring technical assistance. You will provide timely and effective support for IT-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide first-line IT support via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Guide users through problem resolution and escalate when needed
- Log, track, and follow up on incidents to ensure resolution
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops and laptops
- Support network connectivity (local and remote)
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors
- Recommend improvements to IT processes and support services
Qualifications
What you'll do:
Essential
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an IT Helpdesk or technical support role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and basic networking
- Experience with help desk tools and remote support applications
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset
- Able to stay calm, patient, and professional when handling issues
